SODEN Acquires 100% Stakes in K-Line to Maximize Turnkey Infrastructure Fleet

Driving Synergies Across Energy Software and On-Site Engineering to Accelerate Nationwide Fleet Deployment

VPP startup SODEN has completed the acquisition of 100% stakes in K-Line Co., Ltd., integrating the engineering enterprise into the corporate group. This strategic transaction combines K-Line’s comprehensive construction design, field operations, and ongoing asset maintenance capabilities with the SODEN Group to drive agile, scalable service delivery.

Strategic Background

K-Line is a comprehensive engineering contractor licensed in electrical, telecommunications, and fire protection facility construction. Retaining a high volume of certified managing engineers and first-class electrical construction managers, K-Line delivers end-to-end services from engineering design to construction and asset maintenance. The firm has a proven track record as a primary infrastructure deployment partner for SODEN’s EV charging solutions.

Driven by its vision to build an open world with absolute control over electricity, SODEN designs and engineers complete EV charging infrastructure, grid-scale battery storage, and proprietary software/hardware environments. This integration fuses SODEN’s advanced software architecture with K-Line’s execution capabilities to solidify our market leadership in energy infrastructure.

Future Roadmaps

As a unified energy solution enterprise, the SODEN Group will accelerate infrastructure scaling. In grid-scale battery storage, the group will support corporate clients through high-margin, cost-efficient energy management asset allocation. Additionally, SODEN will scale commercial energy storage solutions combining batteries, fast chargers, and solar power to minimize corporate power expenditures and secure stable energy delivery. Moving forward, SODEN continues to evaluate further strategic alliances to generate continuous cross-border market synergies.
